Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients (18 years or older), who received a continuous infusion of norepinephrine base of 5 mcg/min or greater within the first 24 hours after ICU admission between November 2, 2020 and June 30, 2024.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded patients who stayed in the ICU for less than 24 hours, patients undergoing mechanical circulatory support (venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, intraaortic balloon pumping, microaxial flow pump, ventricular assist device), patients without invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring, and patients who opted out of this study.
