Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Studies will be included if they meet the following PCC framework: P: Children or adults diagnosed with cancer during childhood, and their caregivers, childcare workers, school personnel, and healthcare providers, regardless of cancer type. C: Barriers to preschool and school return among children with childhood cancer. C: Community based childcare and educational settings outside the hospital environment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Studies will be excluded if they meet any of the following criteria: 1. Published before the year 2000. 2. Studies that do not include childhood cancer among the target diseases. However, mixed-diagnosis studies that include diseases other than childhood cancer will not be excluded if data for children with cancer can be extracted separately, or if at least half of the sample consists of children with cancer. 3. Studies that do not describe or examine any barriers (e.g., difficulties, challenges, concerns, or obstacles) related to preschool or school reentry. 4. Focused exclusively on support strategies, success stories, or intervention outcomes in childcare or school settings without describing barriers to preschool or school re-entry. 5. Did not include perspectives of children with childhood cancer, caregivers, childcare workers, school personnel, or healthcare providers. 6. Studies that were published only as abstracts with no full text available, or did not report empirical primary research (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods studies). 7. Published in languages other than Japanese or English.
