Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with esophageal motility disorder who have already undergone or are scheduled to undergo esophageal intra-esophageal manometry who are attending or hospitalized at Okayama University Hospital and who will undergo POEM between the date of approval by the head of the research institution and December 31, 2028 2) Patients who can obtain free and voluntary written consent for research participation from the patient 3) Patients between 18 and 90 years of age at the time consent is obtained

MeasureTime frame
Abnormal findings (normal contraction, excessive contraction, contraction failure, and relaxation failure) of the esophageal manometry at the site of collection will be compared with the results of the RNA sequencing test and immunostaining results.
