Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective cesarean delivery under neuraxial anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: emergency surgery history of spinal surgery skin conditions that make ultrasound imaging difficult thoracic epidural anesthesia severe obesity (e.g., BMI>40) that require the sitting position Cases in which the spinal ultrasound was performed by someone other than an obstetric anesthesia trainee (e.g., senior residents or fellows)
