Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients diagnosed with spinal canal stenosis at our hospital who undergo surgery and rehabilitation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (A) Individuals with postoperative complications such as infections, thrombosis, or bleeding (B) Individuals with serious illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases or respiratory diseases (C) Individuals who cannot undergo standard rehabilitation due to dementia or other mental disorders, requiring a surrogate decision-maker (D) Individuals who lack the motivation to participate in rehabilitation (E) Individuals unable to participate in a rehabilitation program for any reason (F) Individuals who do not consent to research participation

| Hip flexion and extension range of motion, isometric knee extension muscle strength, ASIA(American Spinal Injury Association) impairment scale, pain assessed by the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), four items of the Functional Balance Scale (FBS) (360 rotation, step-over, standing balance in tandem stance, single-leg standing balance), 10-meter maximum walking time, and Barthel Index (BI). The evaluation timing for each item will be set as preoperative, postoperative day 3, postoperative day 6, postoperative day 9, and (postoperative day 12) for lumbar spinal canal stenosis. | — |
