Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria comprised RCTs that met the following conditions:1 evaluated the preventive effects of cryotherapy, compression therapy, or cryocompression therapy on CIPN; 2 enrolled adult patients (aged >=8 years) receiving neurotoxic chemotherapy; 3 assessed CIPN occurrence as an outcome of the intervention; and 4 included self-controlled designs, which were considered acceptable.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Studies were excluded if they met any of the following criteria: (1) the intervention was not intended for prevention; (2) the study was not a randomized controlled trial; or (3) the data were not comparable.
