Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients in this study underwent thoracic surgery with one-lung ventilation in the lateral decubitus position at the University of Toyama Hospital between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2023. The target diseases included lung tumors, pneumothorax, and empyema.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals who requested to opt out of the study after the publication of the information disclosure document. Patients who underwent bilateral lung surgery, those who required a right-sided one-lung ventilation tube, and those who used a bronchial blocker.
