The participants receives a total of 8 sessions of regular rehabilitation exercises and functional training for strengthening the muscles of the lower limbs and trunk once a week, followed by 8 sessio

pain, ADL, and cognitive function are fully evaluated, and a patient education and occupational therapy approach that is suitable for each participant is considered.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A user of a day service center, with a mean intensity of back pain of 4 or more points (0=no pain, 10=worst possible pain) on the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) over the past 4 months, and a Mini-Mental State Examination -Japanese version- (MMSE-J) score of 24 or more, who has freely chosen to participate in the study, and who has had the purpose and content of the study explained to them verbally and in writing by the principal investigator or a member of the research team, and who has signed the consent form distributed to them.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age 64 or under, or 91 or over MMSE-J score of 23 or less Average intensity of low back pain in the past 4 months of 3 or less
