Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For the meta-analysis, we included studies that 1) involved adult patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke, 2) evaluated the efficacy of t-PA in combination with antithrombotic agents, and 3) reported relevant clinical outcomes, such as mortality, functional recovery, neurological assessment, and safety.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded studies in which 1) thrombolysis was performed by thrombectomy or catheter, 2) a retrospective approach was employed, or 3) relevant clinical outcomes were not reported.
