Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Japanese males and females aged 20-69years. 2) Individuals who are healthy and have no chronic physical disease including skin disease. 3) Individuals with normal hair volume and no hair loss on the frontal and parietal areas. 4) Individuals whose written informed consent has been obtained. 5) Individuals judged appropriate for the study by the principal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Individuals using medical products. 2) Individuals with symptoms such as thinning hair or alopecia. 3) Individuals with skin symptoms such as skin hypersensitivity, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic or dermatitis on the scalp. 4) Individuals who are patient or have a history of psychiatric disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. 5) Individuals who have a history of serious hepatopathy, kidney damage, heart disease and hematological disease. 6) Individuals who used a drug to treat a disease in the past 1 month (except temporal usage for pollenosis). 7) Individuals who have regularly used or are currently using hair growth agents, drugs, quasi-drugs, or health foods that promote hair growth within the past 3 months. 8) Individuals who are undergoing treatment or treatment related to hair growth. 9) Individuals whose BMI is over 25 kg/m2. 10) Individuals who excessively take alcohol (expressed in an amount of alcohol: over 60g/day). 11) Individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who may become pregnant during the study period. 12) Individuals who participated in other clinical studies in the past 3 months. 13) Individuals who are or whose family is engaged in functional foods or cosmetics. 14) Individuals judged inappropriate for the study by the principal.
