Useing the Ankle Foot Orthosis

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were as follows: first stroke survivors who were able to walk 10 m under observation, and who exhibited a gait pattern of excessive knee joint extension and excessive knee joint flexion during the stance phase.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are: patients with a history of orthopedic diseases that affect walking (e.g., lower limb fractures, rheumatism), severe dementia, and severe psychiatric disorders.
