Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)ages 40 and over. (2)the fatty degeneration of skeletal muscle was been quantified. (3)the incidence of falls has been evaluated, or a quantitative assessment of physical function pertinent to fall risk factors has been undertaken. (4)the paper was an observational study. (5)the paper was an original article. (6)the paper was written in English or Japanese.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)participants with neuromuscular diseases (2)participants with lower limb amputation
