Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Public health nurses in municipalities designated as special reinforcement areas for Nankai Trough earthquake and tsunami evacuation measures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals experiencing symptoms resembling PTSD based on past experiences. 2.Individuals with severe motion sickness. 3.Individuals unable to attend the intervention program sessions.

Design an experimental study where municipal public health nurses are randomly assigned to either a control group or an intervention group. The control group receives traditional training methods, while the intervention group undergoes VR-based training sessions focused on enhancing their self-efficacy, perception of severity, and likelihood of health crisis scenarios. Assessments are conducted before and after the intervention to measure any changes in the participants' perceptions. Statistical analysis is then performed to compare the outcomes between the two groups.	—
