Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Anterior or lateral region of the shoulder pain for at least four weeks and pain rating of 3 points or greater in the 11-point Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) during active flexion
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pain complaint on the nonaffected shoulder with pain rating of 3 points or greater in the 11-point Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) and limited range of motion in active flexion compared to the affected shoulder. Shoulder joint range of motion on the affected side is less than 100 of passive flexion and 10 of passive external rotation and L5 of internal rotation. Bilateral shoulder surgery on either side. History of full-thickness rotator cuff tear. rotator cuff calcific tendinitis. fracture. osteonecrosis. osteoarthritis. dislocation. Pain or numbness by Spurling's test or upper limb tension test History of autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis. systemic lupus erythematosus) or neurological diseases (parkinson's disease. spinocerebellar degeneration) or fibromyalgia. complex regional pain syndrome.psychiatric diseases Intra-articular corticosteroid injections within 3 months of study entry
