Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with allergic rhinitis who are receiving outpatient care at Kyoto University Hospital. 2. Individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of providing informed consent. 3. Individuals with a specific IgE antibody level of class 3 or higher to house dust mite (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus) and a specific IgE antibody level of less than class 3 to Japanese cedar pollen (Cryptomeria japonica).However, participants may be considered eligible even if the specific IgE antibody level to Japanese cedar pollen is class 3 or higher, provided that participation occurs outside the pollen dispersal season. 4. Individuals who, on the Japanese Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (JRQLQ), report a symptom severity score of 2+ or higher for at least one of the following symptoms-rhinorrhea (runny nose), sneezing, or nasal congestion (stuffy nose)-as the worst symptom during the past week, and whose symptoms have persisted for more than one week. 5. Individuals who are able to install and operate an air purifier, mobile router, environmental sensor, and Petri dish in the bedroom and can maintain their operation during nighttime sleep.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who have participated in other clinical research/trials involving intervention within 3 months before consent was obtained. 2. People who are already using air purifiers at home 3. Have a history of substance abuse (drugs or alcohol) within the past 5 years or other factors (such as serious mental conditions) that may limit the ability to comply with the study procedures. 4. Those who have purchased a futon or bed more than half a year ago 5. Those who do not stay overnight for one week or more during the exam. 6. Persons using allergy-proof bedding 7. Any other person whose participation in this study is considered inappropriate according to the judgment of the physician participating in the study.

MeasureTime frame
If there is any improvement in the Japan Allergic Rhinitis Standard Quality of Life Questionnaire (JRQLQ): The JRQLQ includes questions about six areas: daily life, outdoor life, social life, sleep, physical, and mental health. The total score of each score is the primary outcome, and evaluate whether the score is decrease after using the purifier compared to before.
