Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with painful inguinal hernia who planned to undergo elective inguinal hernia repair via anterior approach

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Emergency surgery 2) Surgery for recurrence or CPIP 3) Laparoscopic hernia repair 4) In case that no consent is obtained from patients
