Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Subjects receiving a diagnosis of "Probable AD dementia", "MCI due to AD", or an equivalent diagnosis at a given participating university hospital between April 2011 and March 2023. Subjects were included regardless of brain amyloid-beta pathology, typically confirmed via either imaging or CSF tests. 2) AD onset was between 18 to 79 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Subjects whose onset or time of diagnosis could not be reliably identified. 2)Subjects with a diagnosis of dementia due to other neurodegenerative diseases.
