The purpose of this study was comparison the current status of the educational system and clinical training content for dentists, dental hygienists, in China and Japan, and clarify the differences in their attitudes toward their career choice after graduation.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Men and women of 20 years of age or older (at the time of registration) (2) Dental students (grades 4-6), doctoral students, dentists, dental residents, dental hygienists (dental nurses) in the dental departments of the above universities and university hospitals. (3) Persons who understand the purpose and content of this study and have obtained written consent to participate in the study.
