Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The optimal amount of energy according to the phase of critical illness | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. Differences between mREE and REE calculated by Harris-Benedict formula or ESPEN guideline formula(25 kcal/kg) in each phase 2. Subgroup analysis of the primary outcome according to age, sex, and severity 3. Analysis of mREE variation in each phase to identify metabolic patterns according to age, sex, and pathophysiology | — |
