Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria included being 18 years old or older, experiencing two or more suicidal thoughts in the past two weeks and/or any suicidal behavior in the past month, having access to a smartphone and regular data and/or Wi-Fi connection, and ability to speak and read English.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included regular mindfulness practice in the past three months (practicing mindfulness one or more times per month) and inability to provide informed consent.
