Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hemiplegics were defined as having at least 3 lower extremities and 4 fingers at the Brunnstrom stage (BRS).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with the following conditions were excluded. Those with peripheral neuropathy, Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) scores of 10 or less, and those with severe dementia who were unable to make decisions on their own regarding cooperation in the study.
