Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who will be included conformed to the diagnostic criteria of acute respiratory distress syndrome

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion of patients with liver and kidney diseases, cancer patients and autoimmune illness and patients who develop marked hemodynamic instability or need vasoactive drugs.

Primary aim of the study will be to evaluate the relevance between serum ALP and ARDS severity

Correlate between clinical improvement or deterioration of clinical parameters and serum ALP level
