Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Visit to the emergency department with urinary retention suspected-symptoms: dysuria or reduced urine output

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cannot follow up in the urology department Admission, death or transportation in the first visit Urinary catheter has been already indwelled Does self-catheterization Residual urine is less than 300 ml Be not diagnosed with urinary retention
