Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1)Patients must be at least 20 years old at the time of CPET. (2)Patients with a history of hospitalization for acute decompensated heart failure (NTproBNP>200 pg/ml or BNP>100 pg/ml in case of sinus rhythm on ECG at admission, NTProBNP>600 pg/ml or BNP>120 pg/ml in case of atrial fibrillation). (3)In patients with compensated heart failure who have not been hospitalized. i) In addition to the following heart failure symptoms in the past, blood samples should be taken in sinus rhythm: NTproBNP>300 pg/ml or BNP>150 pg/ml, or in atrial fibrillation: NTProBNP>900 or BNP>180 pg/ml. ii) Patients receiving diuretics for the following heart failure symptoms. Definition of heart failure symptoms: a) Dyspnea induced at rest or with mild exertion. b) Two or more of the following: jugular vein distention, pulmonary rales, leg edema, or pulmonary congestion on chest X-ray. (4)For patients undergoing CPET after the date of research approval, those who have received a full explanation of their participation in this study and who have given written consent of their own free will based on the full understanding of the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1)Previous heart transplantation or use of an extracorporeal circulation support device (2)Patients on chronic peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis (3)Patients with acute myocarditis (4)Patients with missing natriuretic peptide (BNP) or NTproBNP data (5)Patients without sufficient information recorded for analysis (6)Patients deemed ineligible by the investigator
