Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consecutive patients who underwent elective laparoscopic colectomy for benign or malignant tumor located from the appendix to the descending colon at the splenic flexure at the NCCHE between January 2018 and June 2021

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who underwent simultaneous resection of other organs and those with no anastomosis were excluded. Sigmoid colectomy and rectal resections requiring IA with the double stapling technique were also excluded.
