Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (i)Athletes or same activity level player. (ii)The control group is athletes of a similar level as the injury group. (iii)Tendon or/and ligament injuries reports are included in the results.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (i)Animal studies, case report or case series. (ii)The participants are not athletes or athletic players. (iii)The study results report sports performance or fitness levels.

A comprehensive search of electronic databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, Cochrane Library, and Medline will be evaluated for genetic polymorphisms that influence the incidence of tendon and ligament injuries in athletes.
