Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients aged 18 years or older who are receiving care at the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Nagoya University Hospital, and are suspected of having central diabetes insipidus or water metabolism disorders (such as psychogenic polydipsia) - Patients aged 18 years or older with diencephalohypophyseal disorders without symptoms of central diabetes insipidus - Patients who understand the study content and provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients with hypernatremia (serum sodium concentration higher than or equal to 150 mEq/L) - Pregnant women
