Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adults aged between 20 and 69* who live in Shinagawa city and were diagnosed with COVID-19 and registered in HER-SYS in July and August 2022 (COVID-19 group) and age- and sex-matched non-infected residents* (Control group) 2) Those who have consented to participate in this study * age at the time of participant selection ** We excluded those who were registered in HER-SYS between January 2020 and the time of participant selection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Persons deemed unfit by the principal investigator and the research collaborators (e.g., those who have moved out of the city or died at the time of participant selection)
