Healthy adults

Interventions

Participants consume a milk constituent supplement per day for 12 weeks. The outcomes are measured at baseline, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks. Participants consume a placebo supplement per day for 12

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Participants who are aged 60-79 years old. 2.Participants who are able to spend activity their daily life although they have lower physical function. 3.Participants who have no medical and surgical disorders. 4.Participants who are non-smokers. 5.Participants who have not gained or reduced weight in the past 3 months or who will not intend to lose weight within the examination period. 6.Participants who have no milk allergies 7.Participants who have no protein restriction. 8.Participants who are not dementia. 9.Participants who have no requirement for a certification of needed long-term care. 10.Participants who have no back and knee pains.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants who are aged below 59 years old or above 80 years old. 2. Participants who have no issue on physical function or who are not extremely lower daily activity levels. 3. Participants who have medical and surgical disorders. 4. Participants who are smokers. 5. Participants who have gained or reduced weight in the past 3 months or who will intend to lose weight within the examination period. 6. Participants who have milk allergies. 7. Participants who have protein restriction. 8. Participants who are dementia. 9. Participants who have a requirement for a certification of needed long-term care. 10. Participants who have back and knee pains.
