Participants were administered Dioscorea esculenta (300 mg/day) for 4 weeks during the first trial and, after a 4-week washout period, the Dioscorea esculenta and placebo groups exchanged their assign

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants included normal menstruation about 21 days to 35 days as well as has symptoms for PMS and severe menstrual pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with a history of smoking, medication use, and dietary nutritional supplementation were excluded from this study
