Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients visiting the Department of Neurology at each research university between the date of approval by the institutional director of each research center and March 31, 2023. (2) Target diseases: Prion diseases (Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), Gerstmann-Streicher-Scheinker syndrome (GSS), fatal familial insomnia (FFI)), epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's disease, rapidly progressive dementia, and healthy subjects (3) Patients who have been fully informed about the participation in this study and who have given their (or their surrogate's) free written consent based on their full understanding of the study. Exclusion criteria
