Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: severe impairment of liver function or liver cirrhosis severe impairment of renal function (eGFR<30 ml/min/1.73m2) under steroid therapy during pregnancy or lactation period under treatment of cancer
