Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) A healthy individual in 30s to 70s who has no abnormalities in blood biochemical test items. (2) Healthy persons in 60s and 90s who have no abnormalities in blood biochemical test items. Also, those who have a MMSE score of 20 or higher, which is an index of cognitive function.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with any medical disorder, including osteoporosis; hepatic, renal, respiratory, or cardiac disease; those with metabolic, endocrine, cardiac, diabetes mellitus, or hematological diseases; those on supplements or medicines to treat bone diseases or to prevent osteoporosis that might significantly influence the results of the study; smokers and those with allergies, and/or hypersensitivity were excluded.
