Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The following criteria were established for inclusion; 1) patients with cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, or subarachnoid hemorrhage who were prescribed occupational therapy, 2) patients who were 20 years of age or older, 3) patients with upper extremity motor paralysis with a Fugl-Meyer Assessment Score of 19 or higher, and 4) patients who gave written consent for the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: We set the following exclusion criteria; 1) those who had a history of stroke before the disease, 2) those who had previously had orthopedic disease in the affected upper limb, 3) those who had previously been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy of the upper limb, 4) those who had surgical wounds or trauma to the head, 5) those who had difficulty understanding the rating scale due to cognitive decline, and 6) those who had difficulty expressing themselves orally.
