Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: From April 2009 to May 2020, patients who underwent laparoscopic total gastrectomy for gastric cancer at Saga University Hospital in department of Surgery and underwent esophagojejunostomy using the Overlap method. Among them, patients who had an obstruction of passage in the elevated jejunum due to flexion at the anastomotic site of the esophagus and jejunum.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are out of regular surveillance. Patients who required intrathoracic OEJ through a thoracoscopic approach because they required excision of over 4 cm of esophagus.
