Interventions

Low L-glutamate intake in a 6 weeks sodium restricted diet. Normal L-glutamate intake in a 6 weeks sodium restricted diet.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Systolic 120 - 139 mmHg or diastole blood pressure 80 - 90 mmHg, have a sodium intake more than >4000 2) Subjects who are able to participate in the study for 16 weeks 3) Subjects who give the written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Those who are on a special diet 2) Pregnant and lactating women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The sodium intake is different after 6 weeks of a sodium restricted diet in those subjects with low L-glutamate and normal L-glutamate intake

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Stress level is different after 6 weeks of a sodium restricted diet in those subjects with low L-glutamate and normal L-glutamate intake
