Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study participants comprise elderly subjects aged 65 years and older with decline in cognitive function and orthopedic diseases in a convalescent rehabilitation ward. The inclusion criteria were a Mini Mental State Examination(MMSE)s' score of 10-26 points, the ability to sit for more than 30 minutes, and to communication by language.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were those who had difficulty communicating by language and who had a mental disease.
