Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: chronic kidney disease children stages 2-5 (pre-dialysis)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - CKD stage 5 on dialysis - Baseline serum 25(OH)D 3level more than 30 ng/ml or baseline hypo- or hypercalcemia (serum calcium less than 8 or more than 11 mg/dl, respectively).
