Inclusion criteria: All hospitalised patients due to acute ischaemic stroke confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who were suspected to have or diagnosed with ischaemic stroke at other hospitals were excluded.
