Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All outpatients with type 2 diabetes who visited our hospital between April 2017 and March 2018.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes, specific types of diabetes, Cushing's syndrome, renal cell carcinoma, glomerulonephritis, and untreated primary aldosteronism. Patients with estimated glomerular filtration rate < 15 mL/min/1.73m2.
