Interventions

Apply test cosmetics (lotion) to the designated left or right half face during 4 weeks. Apply placebo cosmetics (lotion) to the designated left or right half face during 4 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Japanese males and females aged 30-59 years. 2) Subjects with water content value of 25-40 on both cheeks. 3) Subjects can understand and comply with the rules written in protocol during clinical study period. 4) Subjects whose written informed consent has been obtained. 5) Subjects judged appropriate for the study by the principal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following exclusion criteria apply to subjects. 1) Constantly use cosmetic that contain the ingredient involved in this study. 2) With any allergies. 3) Visit dermatology department(for the purpose of treating atopic dermatitis etc.). 4) With strange skin conditions at measurement points. 5) Conducting hormone replacement therapy. 6) Have ave got cosmetic surgery which would affect the targeted skin. 7) Will get sunburned during the test period. 8) Will receive special treatment (facial esthetics, epilation etc.) during the test period. 9) Can not continue regular life. 10) Have an irregular habit because of working at night or working under work-shift form. 11) Drinks more than 500 ml beer daily. 12) A smoker. 13) Participated in other clinical trial within last 3 months. 14) Working at the health food, cosmetics or pharmaceutical company. 15) Judged not appropriate by principal.
