Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Prospective or retrospective observational studies, or case-control studies assessing sensitivity and specificity of morphological findings of thoracic ultrasound for malignant pleural effusion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Case reports, review articles, or articles using animal models, 2. Studies using ultrasound on other lesions than lung (ex. Abdominal ultrasound).
