Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with advanced cancer within one year diagnosis who receive treatment at designated cancer care hospitals; patients who agree to receive the assertive case management intervention for preventing mental ill-health and mental health crisis in patients within one year diagnosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with consciousness disturbance; patiebts who are unable to communicate with Japanese; patiets who have other reasons for not participating in the trial
