Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A diagnosis of AD by a neurologist 2. Living in a nursing home for at least three months 3. Moderate to severe AD as determined by their baseline MMSE score of =< 20 4. Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not meeting inclusion criteria 2. A serious neurological diagnosis or severe cardiac, pulmonary, and musculoskeletal disorders from physician 3. Regular participation in aerobic exercise or strength training.
