Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) age: 50 yrs or over (b) skeletal muscle mass index (SMI) less than 1SD of the average young Japanese: less than 7.9kg/m2 for men and less than 6.3kg/m2 for women)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) cognitive impairments (b) neurological disorders (c) pacemaker use (d) under treatment of malignant neoplasm (e) diabetes treated with insulin
