Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Having chronic neck pain rated over the last one day between three and eight using the visual analogue scale, neck disability index and pain lasting longer than three months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were acute neck pain, lasting less than three months, a previous history of neck or back surgery, presence of neurological signs, rheumatoid arthritis affecting the neck or back, and currently taking a muscle relaxer.
