Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Aged above 19 and below 85 years old Patients with acute stroke within 48 hours of stroke onset First-ever stroke; Severe walking disability, FMA below 21 Ability to start gait training within 10 days of stroke onset Fit in the robotic suit HAL
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Communication difficulties due to impaired consciousness and/or cognitive dysfunction Patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage Difficulty in performing gait training exercises due to orthopedic disease; Serious hepatic/renal failure (including ongoing dialysis) Gait impairment due to cerebral or muscle disorders other than acute stroke.
