Conditions

About 20 healthy males who do not have upper limb pain during measurement are targeted. The age of the target is from teenagers to twenties. For members of the semi-rigid baseball club of Gunma University, if the number of objects is insufficient, add men who are still playing baseball in junior high school, high school, university etc, or men who have gone in the past.

Interventions

Try Kinesio taping only for the trapezius midbrain fibers, for groups whose throwing side muscular strength is less than 80% of the non-throwing side muscular strength. For the tape, use Kinesio Tex

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Target the members of the semi-rigid baseball club of Gunma University who do not have upper limb pain during measurement. If the number of subjects is insufficient, add to men who are still playing baseball in junior high school, high school, university, etc., or men who have been in the past.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclude those with upper extremity pain at the time of measurement.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Measure the scapular upper arm rhythm of the subject. The seventh cervical spinous processes, seventh thoracic spinous processes, scapular capitulus triangle, shoulder angle, midsection of the shoulder spinous triangle and shoulder angle, and 6 points of humerus lateral epicondyle are affixed with body markers. The shoulder blade abduction movements of the shoulder blades are photographed and the angle of upper shoulder blade rotation with respect to the abduction angle 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 degrees is calculated by moving image analysis software . From the angle formed by the line connecting the seventh cervical spinous process and the seventh thoracic spinous process, the line connecting the midpoint of the scapular capitulus triangle and the shoulder spur triangle / shoulder corner angle, And the angle formed by the inner edge of the shoulder blade is subtracted is adopted as the upper rotation angle of the shoulder blade.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Muscle strength measurement of trapezius muscle superficial fiber, middle part fiber, lower part fiber, anterior saw muscle is performed on both sides. Measurement of muscle strength of each muscle is carried out based on MMT using ANIMA Handheld Dynamometer.
