Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients diagnosed as MSAP/SAP with PCD placement and admitted in the Department of Surgery and Department of Gastroenterology, PGIMER between July 2013 to December 2014 were recruited

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hemorrhage in the lesser sac which precluded percutaneous drainage Previous surgical necrosectomy for infected pancreatic necrosis prior to referral Refusal by the patient
