Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient who is planning on getting pars plana vitrectomy for epiretinal membrane in Kobe University Hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) the patinet who have the history of diabetes, uveitis, pathologic myopia, retinal photocoagulation, other vitreoretinal disease, and the previous vitrectomy
